Privacy Policy

In short: 2FA collects no personal data. No account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. Your secrets stay in your Apple keychain.
1. Who we are
“2FA : Keyboard & Widget” (the “App”) is published by Louis Valli, an independent developer. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the App, its AutoFill extension and its widget.
2. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. The App contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking SDK, and we operate no server.
3. Data stored on your device
- 2FA secrets and account details (service name, account name, settings) are stored in the iOS keychain on your device.
- Preferences (first name you entered, theme, options) and local usage counters (to rank your most-copied codes) stay on your device and in your keychain.
- If you enable iCloud Keychain sync, this data is synchronised by Apple between your devices with end-to-end encryption. Neither Apple nor we can read it. See Apple's privacy policy.
4. Network requests
The App makes only one optional kind of network request: when “Service icons” is enabled and a service is not in the built-in logo catalogue, the App downloads that service's icon directly from the service's own website (for example example.com). That website receives a standard, anonymous request from your IP address, without cookies. No third-party icon service is used. You can disable this in Settings.
5. Apple Intelligence
Automatic categorisation uses Apple's on-device foundation model. Service names never leave your device for this purpose.
6. Camera and photos
The camera and the images you select are used only to read QR codes, entirely on device. Nothing is recorded or transmitted.
7. AutoFill extension and widget
iOS gives the AutoFill extension only the domain of the website or app you're signing into, so it can suggest the matching code. Each fill requires Face ID or your passcode. The widget only receives service names and never displays codes.
8. Purchases
2FA Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive no payment information. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
9. Children
The App collects no data from anyone, including children.
10. Your rights
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete all your data at any time from the App (Settings → Delete all) or by deleting the App and its keychain items.
